We haven't been in a while but had a great time. Amy bumped into an old friend "slim" the sheep dog. They absolutely remembered each other. Amy's gotten big since the last time she saw him. Fun Times!

Of all the dog parks in the area, this one seems to be the cleanest/best maintained, and frequented by people who have invested at least some basic training time with their dogs. We’re typically here once or twice a week, and I can’t think of a time we’ve had to deal with aggressive dogs or questionable owners. If you have a very young, small, passive or timid dog, this would be a great place to begin socializing as they have an area specifically for those purposes - and the active dog areas are large enough so that your pup can get some space if need be. We also like the fact that this place is so well-lit at night, so that our dog can still safely enjoy off-leash time in the summer when the sun goes down; there are also water fountains in and outside the park areas to keep things cool, which as you know is key for any active dog in AZ.

This is definitely my favorite dog park in Arizona so far. It has three separate areas that are all very large. I’d drive to other dog parks just to find them closed for maintenance, but this one is always open because they rotate closing one of the three sections. Very clean, large coverings for shade, and several concrete blocks and benches for seating. Tunnels for the dogs to run through and play on. There’s one water fountain in the park and several at the entrance area before you go in. Tons of parking. This is the only dog park I’ll be going to now.

My absolute favorite place to take my dog for some socialization. She loves being able to run around in the large dog area and there are water fountains, poop bags, and a sand pit. So many families come out at night with their dogs. I like that they have separate areas for large and small dogs
