This is my dogs favorite dog park for sure. Huge space to run, lots of friendly dogs and owners too. Clean restrooms(not fancy lol) inside the fenced area in big dog area. The big dog side has a pond that is full of turtles but they don't bother the dogs. Yes there can and has been an alligator so I check before letting my two swimmers go. It was during gator mating season and a bit of a drought so I believe that contributed. The small dog side is pretty expansive as well. Both have water fountains. There is also an enclosure adjacent to keep dogs in heat, non social dogs,or dogs that for some reason need to be kept separate.

Best free dog park I’ve ever been to. So much land for them to roam and play. The water is great for swimming (there is a bunch of turtles). My guy loves it!

You name it, they have it. The pond is on the big dog side, but sometimes it's empty, and the little ones can go over. Shade for days..and sun as well. Small hills and enough space to tire out any fur monster. My lil one are not that social, but there was more than enough space for them to still enjoy. Oh! Bring your own water. Don't remember seeing a fountain. Loved it.

Barkley Square Dog Park- Deland FL. We visited here on a short break from our home in the Florida Keys and the boutique where my dog Bella and I spend most our days. Entry to the park is free and is a great place to take any size dog. There are designated areas for small and large dogs with a pond on the large side. Bella’s a 13 pound Dorkie who plays well with all sizes. We played for a while in the small area then roamed all over the three acre park. It’s huge compared to the small dog parks we’re used to. There’s even small hills something, Bella has never experienced because there are none where we live. She loved it! I chatted with several nice people who were more than willing to tell me interesting things about Deland and the area . Although we were from out of town everyone made us feel welcome.
