a year agoGreat dog park. It's pretty small area compared to other dog pakrks we've visited but plenty of space for dogs to run around and get tired. Its only one area for small & big dogs. A couple of trees and benches for shade.

a year agoWe had a great time at Mitchell Park and enjoyed the brand new playground!! Thanks to the Tempe residents who supported the parks and recreation bond, who made this update possible! One thing is I would like them to have the restrooms open to the public. Usually they seem to be closed. It may be because the school is run separately.

6 months agoKudos on this one! Ample room for dogs to really run and explore - as well as ample parking. It is always fairly clean and even has some chairs and shaded areas. People and their furry friends are also very nice from our experience there.

5 months agoTo be honest, there's not that much room to throw balls and frisbies around with our pup and the grass could use a bit of love but other than that it's a relatively nice dog park. Other parks in Tempe we've been to require your dog to be leashed at all times even in the dog park area, which I don't understand but this one thankfully doesn't.

5 years agoGreat dog park - huge spread out space, well maintained green turf, couple of picnic tables for seating, lots of trees for shade, one garbage can in the corner of the park. The water fountain needs maintenance and doesn’t work except one facet on the side for dogs. No drinking water for humans though. Bunch of friendly dogs and humans! Overall nice park.
