Fencing
- Secure Boundaries: The park is fully enclosed with high-quality fencing that ensures dogs stay safe within the designated areas. Each section for small, medium, and large dogs is individually fenced, allowing dogs to play freely without risk of escape.
- Double-Gated Entrances: The park features double-gated entrances, adding an extra layer of security when entering or leaving the park. This prevents any accidental escapes and provides peace of mind to dog owners.
- Durability and Maintenance: The fencing is well-maintained and sturdy, capable of withstanding the wear and tear from active dogs. Regular inspections help ensure the integrity of the boundaries.
Distractions
- Social Environment: The park fosters a friendly atmosphere, though some visitors have encountered less-than-pleasant interactions with other dog owners. Generally, however, the community is welcoming, and the dogs are well-behaved.
- Varied Terrain: The park features a large dirt hill and concrete pipes for dogs to explore, dig, and climb on. These structures add an element of adventure and keep dogs engaged.
- Nearby Attractions: The proximity to the Aero Club allows visitors to watch planes take off, providing an interesting backdrop to the park. The presence of a children’s playground outside the fenced area also attracts families.
Amenities

- Dog Wash Station: The park includes a fenced-in dog washing station with hoses, making it easy for owners to rinse off their dogs after a play session.
- Seating and Shade: There are both covered and uncovered seating areas, providing options for those who prefer sun or shade. Benches are placed throughout the park, allowing owners to relax while their dogs play.

- Regular Upkeep: Park staff and visitors contribute to the upkeep, ensuring the grounds remain clean and inviting. The restrooms are particularly noted for being well-maintained.
Hazards
- Crowded Times: While the park is generally safe, it can become crowded, especially later in the day. This may lead to less pleasant interactions with other dog owners, as noted by some visitors.
- Potential Aggression: Although most dogs at the park are well-behaved, there have been instances where visitors felt uncomfortable due to the behavior of other dog owners rather than the dogs themselves.
Extras Rules and Community Safety Rules
- Pet Etiquette: Visitors are expected to monitor their dogs and ensure they interact politely with others. Aggressive behavior is discouraged, and there are clear expectations for pet and owner conduct.
- Leash Policy: While inside the fenced areas, dogs are allowed off-leash, but owners are expected to keep control of their pets at all times. Outside of the designated areas, dogs must be leashed.
- Community Involvement: The park has a strong sense of community, with regulars often taking part in maintaining the cleanliness and order of the space. However, it’s essential to be mindful of the park’s peak times to avoid potential conflicts.

5 years agoWe love it here! Very friendly people, no issues with dogs, and tons of space to run and play. I have taken my animals to dog parks in the past and had a terrible experience... This is not the case here. Excellently well maintained and always a good time!
