Beautiful dog park, close to Horsetooth reservoir. Just next to the dog park are a series of trails that are equally lovely. I would recommend considering some shoes for your dog on some of these trails, though, as they’re a bit rocky.

This park is very nice. Lots of open space and 3 separate gated off areas. One for shy dogs, one for general use and one with more trees and a pond for the dogs to play in. Lots of parking at the park even though there are lots of events like soccer games and party's at the huge park right by there which is good for a walk when you want your dog to dry off before going home. The dogs there are usually well behaved but like with any dog park it is good to be cautious until your dog is comfortable. Also don't bring your dog if you know it's going to be a problem. Open in the winter but they shut off the water and drain the pond for the winter. Only thing is the fences are about 4 foot tall. If you have a flight risk it might be better to find a park with higher fences.
