4 years agoThe bad news is the long walk from the parking lot. The good news is that there is lots of room for dogs to run play. If your dog likes to swim this is a great spot for that. No separate area for small or large dogs. Keep in mind that the public restrooms are near the parking lot and it's a long walk back. I don't expect to frequent this park because of the long walk. Otherwise I do recommend it for aquatic dogs.

3 months agoNOT the dog park if you want quiet. Let's just say the noise from the freeway 100 feet away, is abundant lol. Also is currently closed for some unknown reason. Maybe for the bad algae warning for the area, idk. Outside those negatives and that it's on the smaller side, it does have good grass, shade, lake access and some benches.

2 weeks agoYou have to walk half a kilometre along a busy public path with bikes and leaches dogs and water birds and their poop….i would not recommend this park for young or reactive dogs.

4 years agoVery beautiful view. Beware your dog might jump in the water. Was not expecting our dogs to do this! I do wish they had better grass its very rough and thorny in some areas. There is a water fountain for your dogs and divided sides for small and big dogs.
