3 months agoUsually love this dog park and today was our 3rd time visiting. However, unfortunately our dog was attacked today on Saturday 8/17 at around 10:20am. In the chaos and stress of the incident, we were unable to get the owners information and they made a pretty hasty exit. Be vigilant with your dogs off the leash here as dangerous dogs are clearly visitors.

3 years agoIt’s a big sand lot; 3 laps around equals 1 mile. The sand provides great traction for the dogs and endless digging opportunities, which my dog loves. There are 2 water stations that are simple, yet well designed, with bowls tied to them. 3 picnic tables with a sunshade. Parking is across the street at Red Stone Park which is a very large sports field complex with a pond, picnic area, and restrooms. This park is great to walk in after the warm dog park. There are many shade trees and the grass is lush. Best time of day to arrive for this experience, in my opinion, is a couple hours before sunset.

4 years agoNice park. It has a water spigot for your pooch and plenty of space to run. The terrain is all sand which is good for your pup's paws but gets in their mouths and nose if playing fetch. Also you'll want to bring your sunscreen or umbrella as there is no shade. Definitely worth a visit.

10 months agoA good place to take the dogs - when the weather is dry. Sadly, the area is mostly dirt and turns muddy with any kind of precipitation. It is fairly large and lets the dogs open up a bit. Easy access and parking nearby.
