Orem should be ashamed! Park is mostly sand and gravel on such a steep grade we could barely get up the hill to the to the only shaded area. Just across the access/maintenance road is a beautiful, lush, green grassy park! Our dogs didn't even want to play at this dog park.

I enjoyed the great views as my pups played off leash. It’s very steep and mountainous in the higher park. Very rustic and like being in the mountains. There are wild flowers and nice trees. This year it’s very green. It is a Rocky area. My pups love it and don’t care. We hike a lot so they are used to this terrain and enjoyed being off leash on the side of the mountain while I took in great views.

The slanted rough terrain is pretty tough on dogs feet, and I have run into some challenging dog owners here. Also, new dog owners…Please don’t bring your picnic into a dog park and eat with your little kids not smart. There’s no trashcan and no running water in the winter. The other issue that I do not like here is there is a gun range directly across the loud freeway and some dogs don’t handle gunshots well. Other parks in the area have year-round water.

This is my husband's favorite dog park to go to because of the gorgeous views. I can agree on the views! It was a struggle for a bit with no trash can, but I see that has been changed. Love the option to walk along the river path in case you want to tucker your pup out even more. During the winter it is also beautiful and well kept. Always enjoy when there are two separate gated areas for dogs as well.

I’ve loved going here. Great off leash park. However, right now it’s infested with yellow jackets and other wasps. My dog chased one without me knowing and got stung. I noticed they are around the fences where you walk in, the gates that let the dogs in and out, as well as big nests in the roof of the gazebo’s where you sit. If someone could come spray those, that would be great!
