6 years agoI absolutely love this park. I took my two dogs (1yo and 9yo) we went straight to the pond area where dogs could swim in the water. There are three separate park areas for the dogs to play. They enjoyed it so much. The main park next to the pond is closed off for dogs who aren't interested in the water area. It was great.

6 years agoWell maintained Dog Park with 3 separated sections all using packed dirt: large dog, small dog, and swimming pond (summer only). There is fresh running water, nearby bathrooms, a few trees,a covered bench, and compostable dog waste collection. The reclaimed water pond does grow quite a bit of algae when hot and no recent rain to circulate the water. Its in the middle of Louisville's main park providing parking and other park activities and community.

a year agoThis dog park is pretty great. I've taken my dog here twice. Once when there's a bunch of dogs and they're all chasing and wrestling with my pup. Another time tonight I took him where there was no dogs. They've got a pretty good amount of space for a dog to run around. Currently it looks like they're doing a slight renovation on the west side of the dog park. But it's really nice amount of space. As well it's right next to the park. The first time I took my dog here all the dogs were chasing him. It was kind of hilarious.
