2 years agoThis dog park is part of the facilities provided by Sun City HOA. Very nice and clean. Lots of trees and buildings for shade. Nice benches and chairs for comfortable seating while you're there. Dog owners are very good about making sure their pets are well behaved. They play with other dogs and generally have a great time. Plastic bags are provided so you can clean up after your dog. Pet owners can spend time talking with other owners and enjoying the park too. Very nice place to take your dog for exercise and play time.

9 months agoIt’s the BEST. All people and dogs are members of Original Sun City, Az. One must have a keycard or code to get in. They meet daily for talk, run with pups. Pups are big and small. No separation. It’s super clean. No grass tho. Only decomposed granite. So the dogs may get dusty. Bigger dogs may scare your small boisterous. Dog ( my Kika). But won’t harm her ( Thank God)!!!

6 years agoA very nice Dog Park for Sun City residents. Most people pick up after their dogs and other people will walk around and pickup after other dogs. They also have a book on site with business cards for places recommended like, vets, groomers, trainers...etc. Which is pretty nice. This is one big park with no place designated for large or small dogs. But if owners watch their dogs while they are there, the dogs will get along just fine and learn how to mingle without getting in trouble.

3 years agoTechnically this park is private to the local homeowners association. People seemed to be very welcome to allowing you to push the button and come on in. Please be sure to clean up after yourself as that's the most important part. It is a very beautiful park. Well groomed well maintained friendly dogs, mostly older and lots of wonderful benches to sit on.

6 months agoTook my little chiweenie to the park today. There were so many big dogs that came running over and stood over him, he got scared. The big dogs just wouldn't leave him alone. The owners of the dogs didnt call them off and just said they were nice dogs. I picked him up and a brown lab started jumping up on me, just about pushing me down. My husband told the owner to call her dog and she said the dog wouldn't listen to her. It was a very scary experience. My dog should be able to use the dog park without being hassled by all the big dogs. Why can't we have a place that my little dog feels comfortable. Could we have a fence and have a little dog area?
