2 years agoGolden Parks: why in the world are you drenching this place with sprinklers right before everyone shows up every morning? It turns it into a mud pit and causes a lot of avoidable damage to the park. Unlike the ball fields next door, the dog park is used most heavily first thing in the morning. Please adjust your watering schedule. This was a great place in the winter with no watering, but in the summer it is constantly a mud pit every single morning unnecessarily due entirely to lack of correct management. It's so muddy it's not even usable today. On storm days you expect this, but it shouldn't be every day. Please switch your watering schedule to water at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. when the park closes. EDIT: Called parks in 2021 and they said they would try to address this but that it wasn't that easy to do a system limitation. Haven't gone here lately, so wondering if this is still a current problem or not...

4 months agoNot handicap accessible at either entrance, no place to sit, the entire area is covered in pea gravel making it difficult to walk on for disabled peoples. Not recomyat all for a dog park, one of the worst I've ever visited
