- Height and Material: The fences are tall and made of durable materials, providing a sturdy barrier that withstands the activity of energetic dogs.

- Other Dogs: The park is a popular spot, so expect a lively environment with plenty of dogs, which can be a positive distraction for your pet, promoting social interaction.

Cleanliness
- Well-Maintained Grounds: The park is known for its cleanliness, with well-maintained grassy areas and minimal debris. Regular upkeep ensures a pleasant environment for dogs to play.
- Synthetic Grass: In some areas, synthetic grass is used, which stays clean and dry, preventing your dog from getting muddy or dirty, especially after grooming.
- Owner Responsibility: Most dog owners are responsible, diligently picking up after their pets. Baggie stations are conveniently placed, encouraging cleanliness.
Hazards
- Heat Concerns: The synthetic grass can get hot during midday hours, especially from 9 am to 4 pm, which may be uncomfortable for dogs’ paws. It’s advisable to visit earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon.
- Crowded Times: The park can get crowded, particularly in the evening, which might lead to overexcited dogs or minor scuffles. Monitoring your dog closely during these times is essential.
- Rainy Weather: While the park is generally well-maintained, heavy rain can lead to slippery conditions or muddy patches in natural grass areas, so be cautious during wet weather.
Extra Rules
- Small Dog Area: There’s a specific area for dogs under 25 pounds. Owners of larger dogs are encouraged to respect this rule and not bring their pets into the small dog section to avoid potential conflicts.
- Water Fountain Use: The current water fountain setup may have limited flow, so bringing a portable water bowl might be helpful to ensure your dog stays hydrated.
Community Safety Rules
- Leash Requirements: Outside of the fenced dog park areas, dogs must be kept on a leash. This rule helps maintain safety and prevents any unexpected interactions with other park visitors.
- Vaccinations: It’s essential that all dogs visiting the park are up-to-date on their vaccinations to prevent the spread of diseases and ensure the health of all pets.
- Supervision: Owners are expected to keep a close eye on their dogs at all times, intervening if their pet becomes overly aggressive or disruptive. The community encourages responsible pet ownership to maintain a friendly and safe environment.
Margaret Pace Dog Park is a standout destination for dog lovers in Miami, offering a perfect blend of fun, safety, and community. With secure fencing, ample amenities, and beautiful views of Biscayne Bay, it’s a great spot for dogs to play and for owners to relax. a month agoPretty big space and pretty clean. Depends on what time you go. Right after work people are on their phones, not paying attention and I have seen a few fights that probably could have been prevented. On Saturday and Sunday mornings before 930/10 is pretty nice, good crowd watching their dogs and pretty friendly group.

3 months agoYou know me.. im honest and sincere in my reviews.. This place is super nice. On the water ,nice buildings , parks. Super nice place for a walk and just to relax. Artificial ground. Good seating. Ample space for dogs to run. Great place to converse with people while dogs play. One thing i cant stand is people not cleaning up after their kids. I tried to walk around the perimeter and had to abort. The piles of dog poop around the place kills it for me. There should be penalties in place for this.

a year agoThis is a pet park where people bring their pets. You’ll be seeing people coming with their dogs and dogs running around. I think it is perfect place to come if you have a dog and live nearby. Also, if you like frlsbee, this area is a perfect fit. The weather is usually very hot so don’t forget to bring your sunglasses and a hat 🧢. If the weather suddenly changes and start raining, you can quickly go to a restaurant nearby and avoid getting wet
