Great small dog park located in the Daybreak community in South Jordan. We always have a great experience here. Would love to see some seating added in the shade. 🐶🌳🌳

My dog JUST BARELY got giardia from this park (October 2022). There was a nasty puddle of mud water hidden by plants near the fence just south of the log area atop the hill. I didn't even know it was there until my dog came out covered in stinky mud water. I went and looked and sure enough, it was a decent sized hidden pond/puddle. He drank from it and he developed severe diarrhea over the next few days. He is being treated now but man what a mess and a pain to deal with. Besides that, I do like this dog park albeit small. It's super close to home. It is, however, annoying how often they close the park so the grass can recover. The park also closes at dusk which is very inconvenient in the winter. Dogs still need exercise in the winter and it gets dark around 6pm in the winter. Most people don't get off work until about that time. I wish the park had some lighting so that people who work late can still safely exercise their dog in the winter.

Closed half of the time. They want to preserve the grass so it looks nice at the expense of near by residents and dog owners who would actually use the thing. No separate large vs small dog spaces.

Why are the sprinklers coming on during open hours? That's stupid.
