a month agoGreat place for good exercise. Bring water for the dogs. Always clean up after your pets. They have bags and garbage cans there and a couple of hoses to rinse off after swimming. There’s a nice bathroom by the entrance.

5 months agoGreat day for a puppy's first beach day. There was ample gate security to ensure pet and owner safety. The walkways were sufficient, plenty of parking and signage. We also were happy to see plenty of garbage cans and litter bags available for cleaning up. Everyone was respectful and having a great time with their pets. The water was gorgeous and warm. Our pups loved being on beach patrol, but we have a way to go for full enjoyment of playing in the water. :-) Returning to the Brohard Paw Park is a must.

8 months agoWhat a hidden gem! I had no idea the surrounding parks didn't allow dogs until I arrived with my pup in tow. So I found this dog park tucked in. I thought I would have to find somewhere else but this park and beach was PERFECTION! The people are so nice. I brought my 3lb toy Yorkie and was able to let her be off-leash on the beach. It was great! That's not always possible when dogs of all sizes are present but the owners of the dogs were all very considerate and had great control of their pups. The dogs are friendly, the restrooms are clean. The beaches and park is clean and not littered with garbage or animal waste. It's beautiful. This is a beautiful area with wonderful facilities and incredible people and the sweetest pups! I can't wait to come back!

4 months agoMy second visit here with Oscar and we will keep returning! 2 gated “play” areas for small or large dogs(20+), but the rinse off hose for the dogs is in the large dog area, and you also have to walk through it to get to the beach. Theres a sign posted no dogs over/under that weight, So thats confusing, but we just went through! The water gets deep pretty quickly for small, small dogs. Off leash pups running around everywhere, but the owners have been respectful! Great exposure for fur babies.

4 months agoAs a disabled senior citizen, walking from the parking lot to the beach was extremely difficult. on the pathway to the beach there is no place to sit. However, my service dog, loved every second of it. There were people out with floating nets, sifting shells. All the other dogs were well-behaved and under control by their owners.
