2 years agoA great place for your dog to run and for you to enjoy the 360° view of the mountains of the Rockies! The Lower Loop Dog Park is located up the hill from the parking lot. It can be found by using the map at the entrance to the walkway. It is fully fenced in, has 3 entrances, 2 trash cans, and lots of space to roam! This is a perfect place to take photos of breath taking sights! This park requires you to be able to climb up steep slopes and hills, inside and outside the dog park, so come prepared and bring water! The people and the dogs are all friendly and are here for adventure! Overall, a nice, quiet, gorgeous place to walk with your pup!

a month agoPlease note that the off-leash portion is accessed through the trails. We thought we were in the wrong place at first. But once we found it, it was lovely!!! Not overly crowded. The dogs loved the open space and ability to run free. Highly recommend!

7 months agoSuch a beautiful spot to walk your dog off leash. Very large space with great views. Bring poop bags, none available at the site.

a year agoI used to love this spot, however, the cactus is overrun, and my doggies both got it in their feet. There are no longer grocery bag stands which I know is not a requirement but it was a very aspect to it. We usually bring a bunch when we come, but this time forgot them, and went to look for the bag stands and they appear gone. We almost never have issues with doggies here as there's so much space for them to run around, but this time there were multiple doggy fights and the individuals with the aggressive dogs didn't leave. If you're dog is misbehaving, don't ask for trouble in keeping them there. As for a random spot to bring your dogs, we will still go, I just want to note that it's changed a lot as of yet.

4 months agoThis is a fenced in “off leash trail”. It’s such a good spot for you and your dog to get your steps in. My dog is crazy so we always bring a ball and there’s plenty of space to run and play, even if the “trail” has quite a few people!
