Love taking my dogs here for a run. It's an off-leash park and there's about a mile long trail for them to explore, and a creek that runs though it. The biggest problem is that people never pick up after their dogs, so it can be kind of gross sometimes, and it's super muddy and hard to navigate after a hard rain.

Beautiful dog park or hiking trail! There are lots of little trails that branch off the main trail for you to explore. All the people and dogs we met were polite. The end of the trail is where I used to "shoot the tube", riding the water out of the drainage pipe. It seems that may not be as popular to do as it irritates the dog owners but if you're up for it, it's still an option!

Tanner park is a great place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of salt lake without driving up a canyon. With parleys creek flowing through it there are tons of spots to stop and play with your pup along the trails. There are some closed off areas for conversation and land restoration which allows for some great birding as well!

Nice little park, right next door is parley historic park with bike or walking trail . That's the real attraction, but this park has a playground, tennis court, Pavillion, a flooded amphitheater?, unfortunately no basketball court

I love this park!! I go here with my lab to get his energy out and having the low tide areas where he can play in the water is such a bonus. I've gone to Miller Park for this same concept and although that hike/walk is a lot more scenic, my pup getting to safely play in the water beats that any day.
