3 months agoThe park itself is amazing. There's 2 issues at hand. The parks and rec guys who want to police the park and do nothing to maintain it. And the infestation of Sonoran desert toads that are dangerous to our pets that nobody does anything about. I've stressed this issue to multiple parks and rec staff whose only concern is to lock the gate at night and kick you out. And the town of fountain hills also does nothing to solve this problem. I myself removed 3 toads tonight at the park this is insane.

4 months agoThis is a very nice dog park, but as other hosts mentioned most owners don’t really watch their dogs. I just brought my dog who was having a great time until a couple owners who were just sitting around on camping chairs let their dogs growl at mine over and over again. I eventually get my dog out of there but then I’ve got 3 plus dogs following us growling and nipping. Guess what the owners did while I’m holding my dog back? Just yell from their chairs. Horrific dog ownership unfortunately takes away from this really nice park.

4 months agoMy dog is a 2yo, 75pd, doodle who LOVES to run. I am 70yo in a backbrace and we have been walking the park for 18months. Today, my dog was viciously attacked by a dog that I have seen attack dogs before. I yelled at the owner that his dog is vicious and violates Park Rules. Then a gang of middle-aged men approached with their dogs that also can be vicious and attack other dogs. They shouted profanities at me and yelled that it was just possession issues and let the dogs work it out. Then one guy stepped toward me and threatened me. HUH? My wife helped me escape certain physical harm.

3 years agoI’m a dog walker and take my energetic ones here whoever I can! I’ve always had good experiences with the pups and their people here. The large dog area is perfect for worker dogs who need to sprint and get themselves tired. There are also two or three small pools and hoses near by to freshen them up if needed!

a year agoHuge fenced in area. Lots of space for dogs to run. Nice people, except that ONE guy. Which we seem to find at every dog park we go to, so it is what it is. Why do people insist on talking politics at dog parks?? Lol, not lol. Fountain Falls park is close by. That is the "geyser" you see in the background.
