CAUTION! We just found Goats Head Thorns on one of the islands in the parking lot this evening. Evil Evil things. I will be reporting them to the authorities. Bring your own water and poop bags. Enjoy the prairie. And the sunsets. And, of course, please dispose of your dog's 💩!

Clean, beautiful views, and locals place. I feel safe bringing my dog here and not worry about him being attacked. Note: You need to bring your own water/container.

Open prairie with a nice flat walking trail-loop. We've met lots of friendly folks and dogs here. Pretty views esp mountains to the west. One shade pavilion is much appreciated!
